Established in 1927, Butler Community College is the second largest community college in the state of Kansas and the seventh largest Kansas college overall. With a proud tradition in academics, athletics and community service, more than 8,000 students choose Butler each semester. Named a top 150 community college in the nation in 2017, Butler continues to be the only AVID college in Kansas and a top producer of early college graduates (students earning their high school diploma and associate degree at the same time) in the state of Kansas.
