The American Public University System (APUS) is an online learning institution comprised of American Military University (founded 1991) and American Public University (founded 2002). APUS offers 200+ degree and certificate programs catering to the military and public service communities, with a global network of nearly 80,000 alumni. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and also has specialized accreditation for several additional programs.
