MyOpenMath

MyOpenMath is currently replacing paid access codes with the open source content. Instructors are continuing their efforts currently with over 50% of total courses now zero material costs. Students are finding the material easier to access and engagement has increased since implementation.

Open Educational Resources Outreach

Promotion of use and adoption of OER is being advanced through shared guidance with the OER steering committee and led by the Copyright & Open Educational Resources Librarian. This includes working directly with faculty and staff to identify possible existing materials for adoption and options for development. This work includes working closely with the bookstore on finding possible cost saving projects.

As part of the overall outreach plan current research in relevant topics plus ongoing review of professional development materials is ongoing. This projects helps support the overall message of the importance of OER adoption and use across the college.
